Be Bold About Being Kind: Bullying Awareness & Prevention Week
November 17-23, 2025, is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week in Ontario. This week is an opportunity for Thames Valley students, families and staff to learn more about bullying, its effects on student learning, and how we can work together to create safe and inclusive learning environments.
This year, we’re asking the TVDSB community to empower students to “Be Bold About Being Kind” in support of feelings of safety and connection at school.
Students are also invited to participate in our annual Art Contest by creating original artwork that reflects this year’s theme. Winning artwork will be printed on TVDSB notecards and displayed in the Mayor of London’s office!
Everyone has a role to play in building positive relationships in our school communities. From students and parents to principals and school staff, we’re all responsible for making sure our schools remain welcoming spaces for all. Read the new Bullying Prevention and Intervention Procedure to learn more about the important role you play!
