All Thames Valley District School Board fields will reopen on Tuesday evening (June 24, 2025) as high temperatures are expected to ease slightly tonight.

TVDSB announced on Monday that, due to safety concerns from the ongoing heat wave, all fields would close for community use until further notice.

While heat warnings from Southwestern Public Health and the Middlesex-London Health Unit remain in effect, forecast temperatures for this evening are expected to be lower than they were Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be in the high 20s, with humidity values in the mid-30s.

TVDSB will continue to monitor the situation.
