Grade 7 and 8 Thames Valley students will learn the "Art of the Pitch" through an innovative entrepreneurship learning experience that will see students develop, market and pitch their own products.
Students will learn how to develop a product or service and create a persuasive marketing pitch with support from Junior Achievement (JA) South Western Ontario, before finally presenting their pitch to a panel of experts in a Dragon's Den-inspired experience this spring.
The project will unfold over two events:
This experiential learning opportunity supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and real-world skills development for intermediate students. Media are invited to attend and help share this student-focused initiative by covering either the Art of the Pitch day, the Dragon’s Den simulation, or both.
