Thames Valley highlights sustainability plans for World Environment Day

Posted On Wednesday June 05, 2024

As we celebrate World Environment Day on June 5, Thames Valley District School Board remains committed to environmental sustainability today, and in the future.

Thames Valley recently implemented a Sustainability Framework as part of efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. This framework includes Three Pillars of Sustainability, targeting reductions in energy, water, and waste through education outreach and school board operations.

“Thames Valley recognizes that as global climate changes, we will need future-ready infrastructure, education and communities,” said Director of Education, Mark Fisher. “We are committed to continuing to adapt as environmental concerns evolve.”
